Lone Worker Solutions
JAM has a couple of options for companies concerned about the safety of their engineers/overnight
lone workers.
Engineer Solution
After passing the initial call to the engineer on rota, if the engineer does not
call in within a set time (client sets this) to advise job complete and engineer
safe we will attempt to contact the engineer to check job progress and safety.
If we are unable to contact the engineer we will then alert their supervisor and
inform them of last know whereabouts of their engineer. Final contact is made if
we are unable to contact supervisor we would work through an escalation procedure
supplied by the client.
Overnight Lone Worker
A lone worker is required to call a number and listen to a brief voicemail message
a specified number of times during the night. If no call is received we can call
a nominated number, work through an escalation procedure supplied by the client,
as well send a daily report of expected calls that haven’t happened.
The client has the ability to specify each day of week the times that a call from
a lone worker is expected, override the normal daily plan for a specific date –
to allow for bank holidays, etc.. It is possible to vary the length of “window”
before the call is assumed not to have happened.
If required these configuration settings can be varied by the client using standard
facilities within our Messageview service.
